Position Overview:
Supervise a crew installing, maintaining, and repairing natural gas lines and related infrastructure, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include leading daily field operations, performing site inspections, training and coaching crew members, and ensuring efficient, high-quality work to prevent gas leaks and ensure public safety.

Education Preferred: High school diploma
Experience Preferred: Knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position lifts heavy objects (up to including 50 pounds), walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires the ability to move arms and legs quickly. The employee must have excellent stamina.

- Lead, direct, and coordinate the activities of a field crew.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas pipelines, distribution systems, and related equipment, such as meters and regulators.
- Inspect job sites and work to ensure it meets high-quality standards and proper procedures are followed.
- Address on-site challenges, respond to gas leak calls, and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.
- Provide training and coaching to crew members, helping them develop their skills in natural gas construction and maintenance.
- Act as the primary point of contact between field teams and management, communicating operational needs and problems.
- Operate and ensure the proper working order of equipment assigned to the crew.
- Maintain accurate time and work records for the crew's activities.
- A strong understanding of natural gas distribution systems and related technical procedures.
