What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician position at SOUTH DENVER GASTROENTEROLOGY?
We are hiring for a full-time Endoscopy Tech at our outpatient endoscopy center in Castle Rock! Prefer an experienced GI endoscopy tech, surgical tech, CNA, or MA, but will train the right candidate with other relevant medical or customer service experience. Hours and days will vary based on the needs of our patients and physicians, however we do not work weekends, holidays, or have on-call shifts!
Our team seeks experienced, self-motivated individuals who can prioritize, critically think, are detail oriented, reliable, and flexible. Strong communication skills are needed. Clear written and verbal communication between the team is vital. Compassion, commitment, and professionalism with our patients and team are a must.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- BLS
- Procedure room experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles and experience in central processing functions preferred.
- Desire to cross train to reception in addition to other job duties.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Windows
