Job Overview
The Range Safety Officer (RSO) will be customer service oriented who assists all aspects of the operation of the gun range and firearms training center. The RSO will ensure all safety aspects and ensure that the entire facility and all operations are maintained at the highest standards. This is a weekend opening.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Ensure the facility is opened and closed for the shift
· Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the center at all times
· Operate POS software
· Ensure overall cleanliness of facility is completed during the shift
· Ensure maintenance of range specific equipment is completed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, to include the proper disposal of lead based filters.
· Maintain productive relationships with established customers
· Ensure overall safety is implemented
· Attend training as required by the Range Manager and attend required training as set through SOP, to include required range safety officer training
· Work as a team player
· Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, vendors, and staff
· Adhere to company policies at all times
· Perform other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Retail sales experience required
- Proficient with office technology
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
