USD Head Start is excited to welcome a dedicated and passionate Center Teacher to our preschool team in Vermillion.
In this role, you’ll guide and inspire a classroom of 16 children ages 3–5, helping them build the social, emotional, and early academic foundations that shape lifelong learning.

Position Details
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week
- 9.5‑month schedule (August 15 – May 31)
- Lead a preschool classroom of 16 children
- Create a warm, engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment
Qualifications
- BA in Early Childhood Education or
- BA in Education with Early Childhood Endorsement or
- BA in Special Education with Early Childhood specialization
- Experience working with young children
