Daily duties are generally guided by the Logistics Warehouse staff, with duties expected to expand as skills and experience grow.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Work is performed in warehouse, fire station, office, and outdoor environments. Requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions. Must maintain visual and hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively by phone or radio.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Observes safe work methods and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required
- Operates RFA vehicles as necessary to perform the duties of the position
- Keeps immediate supervisor and designated others accurately informed concerning work progress, including present and potential work problems and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing such problems
- Receive, store, and issue supplies, uniforms, and equipment.
- Perform shipping, receiving, and deliveries for fire stations and staff.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and inspection of small tools and equipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Perform simple data entry into inventory and asset management systems.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Respond to basic service calls in the field under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and the public.
- Attend required training and certification programs.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the role and function of the Logistics Division.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or equipment handling.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Any combination of training and experience providing equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Must pass a formal criminal background check.
- Must complete and maintain forklift certification provided by the RFA.
- Must complete and maintain ACT medical training provided by the RFA.
