Job Qualifications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Our ideal candidate should have;
- Teaching Assistant or Teacher (preferred Students with Disabilities or ENL) with appropriate NYS Certifications.
- Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.
- Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
- High school level teaching and support experience and familiarity with the culturally relevant needs of ELL's.
- Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
According to the South Colonie Teaching Assistant Contract at least $28,838.00 depending on experience and transcripts. Competitive benefits.
