The Tasting Room Manager will oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while managing wine sales and events. Responsibilities include supervising staff, leading wine tastings, organizing wine education sessions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the tasting room aligns with the high standards of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Temecula, CA.
- Proficiency in Wine Sales, including upselling and meeting sales targets
- Strong knowledge of Wine Education and Wine Tasting with a passion for sharing wine expertise
- Exceptional Customer Service skills and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Experience with Inventory Management, including tracking and organizing stock efficiently
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
- Legal age to serve alcohol according to California state regulations
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the hospitality or wine industry is a strong advantage
