Physical Therapist (10 Months)

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 7/1/2026-6/30/2027 IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Appropriate Leadership Team Member FACILITATION SUPPORT: Linda Cullen & Leah Paliotta JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ❖Ability to work as a productive member of the instructional team to maximize student outcomes ❖Conduct in-depth physical therapy evaluations ❖Develop goals and objectives for Individual Educational Plans that address student needs in school ❖Develop recommendations for physical therapy service provision for students at school. ❖Provide physical therapy services to students as specified by their individual IEP or 504 plan ❖Maintain data collection employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goals ❖Consultant to classroom staff regarding student needs ❖Provide clinical supervision to physical therapist assistant(s) ❖Responsibility to stay up to date with current physical therapy and educational practices ❖Participate in clinical supervision as assigned ❖Participation in a mentor program that focuses on Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS), Social Communication Emotional Regulation Transactional Supports (SCERTS), Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) and Deeper Learning approaches. ❖Willingness to offer trainings to staff or other community members on topics of interest. ❖Remain knowledgeable regarding Abuse and Neglect Reporting as a member of SCEC team and provide training to staff. ❖Other duties as required.
