Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Agronomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural science and be adept at applying their expertise to enhance crop production, soil health, and sustainable farming practices. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including farmers, and sales teams, to develop effective agronomic solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field trials and research to evaluate crop performance and agronomic practices.
- Analyze soil samples and recommend appropriate amendments to optimize soil health.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support for inside, outside, and territory sales efforts.
- Work with clients to find products that align with their agricultural goals and needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in agronomy.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude.
- Experience as an agronomist, especially experience selling seed or crop protection products is preferred.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Farm background is preferred.
