South Central Transit is now accepting applications for a Full-Time BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at the Centralia facility.
Are you skilled with your hands and enjoy keeping facilities in top shape? South Central Transit is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our team!
What You'll Do:
Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
Perform routine facility upkeep and outdoor maintenance, including landscaping and mowing.
Handle general cleaning tasks and supply orders.
Conduct monthly building inspections and maintain door locks and codes.
Assist with transporting tools and equipment between facilities.
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and lawn care.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling).
Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required; prior maintenance experience preferred.
