1 Specialist per building ($7800)
JOB SUMMARY: Provide leadership in developing, achieving, and maintaining high quality technology services at the building levels by supporting a variety of building technology needs including but not limited to: device troubleshooting, subscription management and tech ordering.
REPORTS TO: Building Principals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience and knowledge of the building's technology preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in the District
- Demonstrates knowledge of technology and district technology services
- Leadership experience
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the building principal may find appropriate
POTENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as member of the District technology committee
- Serve as first point of contact at the building level to troubleshoot technology issues
- Collaborate in preparing for ISASP and other individual building assessments
- Effectively use and provide support for current, district provided technology: Chromebooks, Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, Odysseyware, Clever, iPads, ,MacBook Pros, Web IEP systems, along with district adopted curriculum, etc.
- Coordinate with appropriate school personnel and third party tech services company to establish a tech plan for the building
- Support implementation of the SCC District technology plan
- Recommend hardware, software, and related resources
- Display professional integrity and confidentiality
- Collaborate with Superintendent and Building Principals to establish and maintain District Social Media Guidelines
- Assist with Erate and District Technology orders (as needed)
- Coordinate with school staff and admin, when necessary, to support creation of classroom social media accounts.

- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Building Principals and/or the Superintendent of Schools
