Position Overview
South Central Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Care Staff to join our team in providing support to adults in a homelike setting in Hastings, NE. The role involves assisting residents with daily routines and medication administration. No “hands-on care” is required. Staff will also be responsible for record-keeping, including daily progress notes and using an Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).
Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate one of the following:
- Two years of lived experience in a related field
- Two years of direct care experience in human services
- Two years of training in a human services field
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, or a related field (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour with an active Medication Aide Certification.
- Quarterly Bonuses: Based on productivity and performance.
