The Position
South Central Behavioral Services (SCBS) currently has an opening for a Direct Care Staff in our Day Program at Opportunity House in Hastings. A Direct Care Staff is someone who provides individualized treatment and recovery to help individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring disorder. The ideal candidate would assist individuals with setting goals and daily skill building while attending day program. You would participate in treatment team meetings to discuss and address the ongoing needs of the clients and are also responsible for completing daily documentation in our electronic health record. The starting salary range for this position is $38,000 to $42,000, which includes bonuses based on productivity and performance. Starting wage is contingent upon education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in human services is preferred, but we will consider individuals with experience in the field.
