What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of In Home and Case Management Adult Services position at South Central Alabama Mental Health Center?
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Director for Adult In-Home and Case Management Services to join our team. In this role, you will direct and provide management of In-Home and Case Managers of mental health services to our consumers, as well as consultation and education services to other community agencies, professionals, and the general public.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master's degree (MS) in psychology, social work, counseling, or another behavioral health area plus two years post Masters experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all In-Home Teams and case managers in four county catchment area.
- Provide direct mental health, crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution services to consumers in the community.
- Offer consultation and educational services to community agencies and the general public.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Overseeing, maintaining and performing designated documentation in consumer records according to standards.
Must have Master's degree in mental health related field; current driver's license, eligibility for coverage under center liability insurance and individually held vehicle liability insurance and clear background check.
