South Carolina Yacht Club is looking for a dynamic Membership & Communications Director to lead and elevate our organization’s member engagement and outreach efforts!
As the Membership Director, you will play a key role in driving member growth, enhancing communications strategies, and fostering a strong sense of community. You'll work directly with the General Manager and Department Heads to develop marketing campaigns, ensure memorable member experiences and share our club’s vision on various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive membership growth strategy.
- Oversee communication initiatives through email, newsletters, social media, and website content.
- Build strong relationships with current and potential members, ensuring their needs are met and voices are heard.
- Create an awareness and enhance our presence.
- Analyze membership data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in membership management, communications, or marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a passionate, creative and engaging approach.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities and enthusiasm for member engagement.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ utilizing new trends and technologies.
