HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks of residential and commercial units efficiently. It is desired that applicants have mechanical knowledge and experience in various related fields, including refrigeration and plumbing. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Conduct field service calls to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
• Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service recommendations and system performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Diagnose refrigeration and air flow issues and high voltage & low voltage shorts independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
