Marketing and Communications Manager

South Carolina Legal Services (SCLS) is dedicated to providing high-quality, free civil legal services to low-income residents across South Carolina. With nine offices throughout the state, we strive to ensure equal access to justice for all South Carolinians. Our team is passionate about making a difference in our community, and we are looking for a dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our mission.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will enhance SCLS's visibility and impact through strategic marketing and communications initiatives. This role will manage our social media platforms, create engaging content, handle email marketing, and support various external communication efforts. The ideal candidate will be a creative and tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for social justice.

Responsibilities

• Have a deep understanding of the company's products and goals
• Work cross-functionally with different organizations
• Create and implement compelling marketing content
• Track data on the effectiveness of campaigns

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Experience with email marketing platforms, preferably MailChimp.
• Strong content creation skills, including writing, graphic design, and video editing.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva and Camtasia.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
• Passion for social justice and commitment to the mission of serving low-income communities.
• Knowledge of data analytics and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
