South Bouquet Advisory is a fractional CFO and finance firm built to give growing businesses the financial leadership of a seasoned in-house team, without the overhead. We work with owner-operators across SaaS, real estate, e-commerce, service businesses, and other industries. We're lean today and serious about growth.
This is our first full-time hire. It's a unique opportunity for someone who wants to own client relationships, build something from the ground up, and have a meaningful impact on both our clients and our firm as we grow.
What You'll Do
You’ll own a portfolio of clients across industries, serving as an embedded finance partner to founders and leadership teams. Depending on the client’s needs, you may operate as a fractional CFO, controller, or FP&A lead. Day to day, that includes:
- Serving as the primary finance point of contact for clients, including participating in leadership meetings and advising on operational and strategic decisions
- Building and maintaining budgets, forecasts, operating models, and cash flow plans record of preparing accurate monthly close packages, management reports, and board-level presentations.
- Preparing board ready reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and investor materials
- Leading monthly close processes and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting
- Identifying gaps in financial infrastructure, reporting, and processes, and implementing scalable solutions
- Assisting with onboarding and integrating new clients as the firm grows
- Working directly with the founders on internal operations, process improvement, and strategic initiatives across the business
What We Are Looking For
- CPA, with 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities at the same time
- Organized. Detail-oriented where it counts, but able to see past the numbers to what actually matters to a business
- Client-facing from day one. You’re comfortable on a call, you communicate clearly, and you don’t need hand-holding
- Entrepreneurial mindset. You want ownership and are excited to build
Experience in SaaS, commercial real estate, e-commerce, or service businesses is a real plus.
