What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cytotechnologist position at South Bend Medical Foundation?
Description
Qualified as a Cytotechnologist under CFR 493.1483 with certification as a Cytotechnologist by an appropriate accrediting agency i.e., ASCP or equivalent. (Prefer Bachelor’s Degree). Must possess an active, current driver’s license for travel to our various client-hospital locations.
- Our Cytotechs screen both non-gyn’s and gyns
- FNA collections and ROSE assessments using telepathology on EBUS, Navigational and Monarch bronchoscopies and FNA procedures
- Extremely active relationships with 3 major hospitals performing on-site EBUS procedures and navigational bronchoscopies
- Brand new work-space – new building with private offices for screening staff
- Opportunity to work directly with clinicians with a common goal of helping others!
