POSITION TITLE: Marketing Manager
SALARY RANGE:
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director, Food and Nutrition Services
OVERVIEW:
Leads marketing, communications, and engagement activities for the District's Food and Nutrition
Services, with a focus on driving student participation in Child Nutrition Programs and supporting events,
promotions, and family outreach.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Continue to drive marketing events and activities, and support the FNS team in promotional
activities where needed.
? Develop and execute seasonal and program-specific campaigns (back-to-school, National School
Breakfast Week, National School Lunch Week, Summer Meals), among others, to increase
student meal participation.
? Create and maintain menu graphics, posters, digital content, and social media assets consistent
with District brand standards and USDA nondiscrimination and "And Justice for All".
? Coordinate with building principals, leadership, and community partners.
? Work with the Dietitian to promote featured menus.
? Track campaign performance, participation trends, and student/family feedback; provide regular
reports to the FNS Director.
? Ensure all marketing materials comply with USDA Smart Snacks, local wellness policy, and
District communications policy.
? Perform other duties as assigned by the FNS Director.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, nutrition, or related field preferred, or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Minimum three (3) years of marketing or communications
experience; experience in food service, K-12, or public-sector marketing is a plus. Proficiency with design
tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), social media platforms, and email marketing tools. Strong writing,
visual design, and project-management skills.
