Job Summary Under the direction of the site administrator and Expanded Learning Program Coordinator, the Explore After School Site Lead oversees the daily operations of the after school program. This position ensures high-quality delivery of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities. The Site Lead coordinates program logistics, supervises staff and volunteers, ensures student safety, supports data collection and reporting, and fosters collaborative relationships with students, families, and school personnel. Initial Placement on Salary Schedule: $20.16 - $21.59 Depending on Experience 10 Month Work Year (186 Work Days) Monday- Friday 11AM-6:30PM (7Hrs. Per day) Essential Functions and Responsibilities (other related duties may be assigned): The following are typical duties and responsibilities. Assist in development and implementation of a comprehensive after school program that includes academic support, enrichment, physical activities, and social-emotional development Supervise and schedule daily activities, staff, and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery Lead and differentiate learning and enrichment sessions for diverse student groups Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student engagement and progress Ensure adherence to site behavior expectations and safety procedures Monitor the physical environment and student behavior to ensure student safety, prevent injuries, and report potential safety hazards Manage program materials, inventory, and procurement processes Complete and submit attendance, snack, and program reports, including compliance documentation Oversee the snack and supper service, ensuring accurate records and compliance Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive program environment Participate in training, meetings, and professional development related to after school Provide first aid as necessary
