Duties
- Conduct continuous CCTV surveillance to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Perform thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and new employees to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Manage access control by authorizing entry and exit for authorized personnel while denying unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid, CPR, or AED as needed, and coordinating with emergency services.
- Execute manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe movement of equipment or materials within the facility.
- Utilize law enforcement techniques such as performing background checks or deploying Taser devices when necessary to de-escalate conflicts.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong surveillance skills.
- Ability to obtain security officer license through Alabama state regulatory board. We will assist you with this.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to perform background checks and interact professionally with diverse individuals.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
