JOB SUMMARY
Cross-functional position that supports all areas of the Bank’s deposit operations function. This position will perform operational duties to maintain deposit accounts such as assisting with wire transfers, exception item processing, balancing, digital banking reports, and debit card transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in processing incoming and outgoing domestic and USD foreign wire transfers.
- Process returned deposited items.
- Review exception items reports.
- Daily balancing of branch cash.
- Make general ledger entries for off-site deposits.
- Perform account verifications.
- Provide debit card support.
- Research digital banking reports.
- Adhere to banking regulations and internal policies to ensure compliant operations.
- Provide back-up for other Deposit Operations employees as needed.
- Completed other related projects and assignments as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months to one year or more banking experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence
- Understanding branch operations is beneficial
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and office equipment
- Basic math skills to include calculating figures such as discounts, interest and percentages
- Familiarity with banking compliance and deposit regulations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
