What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver (part-time) position at South Amboy Board of Education?
The South Amboy School District has the following openings for the 2026-2027 school year. Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience:
PART TIME BUS DRIVER
(Mornings/ Afternoons/ Evenings)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess CDL with (P) endorsement and (S) endorsement
- The busdriver must safely transport students and perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
- The driver also must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and undergo a background check/fingerprinting.
- Physical exam required
Applications must be submitted at Applitrack. Selection process will continue until a candidate is appointed. Appointment is at the discretion of the South Amboy Board of Education. If, and when, an appointment is made, appropriate staff will be notified.
