Exciting opportunity for Activities Director for an Adult Day Care located near Edison, NJ.
Responsibilities include: Planning and running a program of therapeutic activities, tailored to the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
Have a bachelors degree from a college or university approved by a state department of education with a major in recreation, creative arts therapy, music therapy, therapeutic recreation, art, art education, psychology, sociology, or occupational therapy;
Or be certified or eligible for certification as an activity director certified (ADC) by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals; or as a certified therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation;
Or as a recreation administrator or recreation supervisor by the NJ State Board of Recreation Examiners
