What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Party Chief position at Soutex Surveyors & Engineers?
Soutex is looking for an experienced Survey Party Chief to lead a 2 to 3 man crew in performing various survey projects for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Locate and accurately measure the location of property corners and improvements
- Perform construction staking for residential, commercial, and industrial applications
- Insure that work truck is kept clean, and well stocked
- Training party members in the nuances of surveying
- Perform basic calculation in the field
Required Experience and Skills Minimum 1 year experience as a Survey Party Chief
- Must be able to take clear, concise, and legible field notes
- Understand the use of GPS, Total Station, and levels
- Experience with Leica a plus
- TWIC & ISTC a plus
- Must be able to work overtime
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
