What are the responsibilities and job description for the WebSphere Administrator position at SourcePro Search?
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a full-time WebSphere Administrator who will be responsible for deployment, administration, tuning and support of mainframe WebSphere Application Server.
Requirements:
· Experience in the deployment, administration, tuning, and support of IBM Websphere Application Server on z/OS
· Project Planning and documentation as required.
· Strong analytical skills to evaluate existing processes and develop recommendations for improved or new processes
· Ability to work well in a team-driven, goal-oriented environment. 24 x 7 support of the mission critical environment
Preferred Experience but NOT Required:
· Java Development
· IBM’s DB2 for z/OS and or CICS Transaction Server
· Unix shell scripting experience
· IBM HTTP Server
· dynaTrace application performance management
