SourceProSearch is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented IP Legal Assistant with experience in patent and trademark prosecution and enforcement. If you are an energetic, people-person with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, this full-time hybrid role could be the perfect fit for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform daily case management tasks, including organizing and maintaining trademark, copyright, and patent dockets.
- Conduct factual research to compile infringement evidence for enforcement on retail platforms, lawsuits, and/or cease & desist letters.
- Act as a liaison between the business team and outside IP counsel, providing critical support and communication.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record.
- At least 2 years of legal assistant support experience, preferably in an IP-related role.
- 2 years of practical work experience, ideally in a detail-oriented professional office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Adobe.
- Advanced skills in docketing and conducting online research (e.g., Lexis Nexis, PACER).
- Experience in online intellectual property enforcement, including Amazon Brand Registry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
