SourceProSearch is conducting a search for Construction Paralegal.
What You'll Do:
- Assist a team of 4 attorneys in various aspects of case management and administration
- File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
- Coordinate court appearances, depositions, and meetings
- Maintain the department’s case calendar
- Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines
- Manage and organize case files and documents
- Utilize eDiscovery systems effectively
- Assist with research and drafting legal documents as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification preferred
- Prior experience in a legal environment, preferably in construction law
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in eDiscovery and case management software
- Familiarity with New York's Lien Law and construction law principles (preferred, but not required)
