What You’ll Do:
- Provide legal assistance and support to Bankruptcy Attorneys in handling bankruptcy cases.
- Prepare and file various legal documents, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
- Conduct bankruptcy-related research and assist with all aspects of bankruptcy transactions.
- Follow up on case status and docket relevant information, ensuring future follow-up dates are met.
- Perform bankruptcy searches using various databases and docket results.
- Draft and review legal documents, including bankruptcy motions.
- Assist with electronic court filings and collaborate with clients and third parties to resolve issues.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal in a law firm.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and document management systems like iManage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to attorneys and clients.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Paralegal Certificate required.
