Workforce Operations Manager (Temporary assignment now through August 7th)

- Ensure that Workforce Operations KPI’s and service expectations are met, including achieving the Headcount requirements to meet company service levels metrics and performance goals.
- Responsible for providing Workforce Reporting to the entire organization.
- Be engaged with P&L/Budget performance at BU to Branch level. Partner with Branch leadership developing workforce initiatives that impact P&L performance of revenue and expense.
- Point of Contact (POC) for Temporary Staffing Agencies – both existing partners and Agencies that wish to have a partnership with the company. Responsible for coordinating Contracts and Amendments and negotiating Commercial terms. Responsible for escalations.
- Manage the Staffing Agencies KPI performance. Directly interfaces with the Staffing agencies in an effort to build and maintain a positive working relationship on behalf of the corporation as well as helping to develop new Workforce initiatives for the branches
- Supervise and motivate staff of Workforce Operations leaders.
- Prepare various Workforce reports and analysis as required by senior leadership.
- Generate, cultivate, and communicate ideas for continual improvement of processes and activities across Workforce Operations that lead to standardization within the workforce operations processes at the Branches.
- Support research and reconciliation of Workforce Operations Headcount reports posted on the company's Homepage, Workforce Operations portal.
- Support and ensure compliance with company's employment practices, in partnership with HR.
- Position reports to the Director of Workforce Operations.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Business Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- 10-15 years of proven Operations management experience required.
- 10 years working in a high volume distribution, 3PL, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation.
- Previous experience managing multiple facilities preferred
- Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access and Project), report preparation, and data analysis.
