Fire Alarm Foreman needed at SourceLink Communications! 3 year's experience in running and installing Fire Alarm install projects.
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Foreman with background in Fire Alarm installation and running crews of 3 or more field personnel for medium to large fire alarm projects. This is a working field position, working alongside your assigned field techs. This will support our ever-growing branch located in Central Florida, working under our Fire Systems Project Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Running crews of 3 or more field personnel for medium to large fire alarm projects.
- Be able to work independently and supervise installation personnel.
- Produce as-builts on completion of projects.
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety compliance.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all local and state codes, standards, industry standards and regulations.
- Have great communication skills both verbal and written.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm installation Foreman.
- FASA/BASA Certified in good standing or ability to obtain in the first 30 days.
- Knowledge of code requirements, NFPA, Life Safety, NEC.
- Some knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, RFIs, RFPs, schedules and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and ability to interpret wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Fire Alarm industry experience.
- Experience in small to large projects.
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit or other design/mapping software is a plus.
- NICET II or higher.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- FASA/BASA
- OSHA 10 / 30 Preferred or willing to obtain within first 90 days.
Our home office location is in Sanford, Florida. This team handles installations and service requests concentrating on the Central Florida area. Some travel may be required for short term jobs.
