BluSky Restoration Contractors is seeking a Project Director to drive sales, estimate projects, and oversee restoration and reconstruction work for commercial and residential properties affected by water, fire, storms, and other disasters.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $70,000–$100,000 (based on experience)
- Uncapped Commission
- On-Target Earnings: $140,000–$300,000
What You'll Do
As a Project Director, you'll be responsible for developing new business, estimating projects, closing sales, and managing projects through completion. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients while working closely with internal teams to ensure every project is delivered successfully.
Key responsibilities include:
- Estimating and selling restoration and reconstruction projects
- Building and maintaining relationships with commercial and residential clients, property managers, and insurance professionals
- Negotiating contracts and driving revenue growth
- Developing project budgets while maintaining profitability
- Managing project financials, including accounts receivable and collections
- Partnering with Project Managers, Mitigation Teams, Business Development, and Project Accounting
- Providing exceptional communication and customer service throughout every stage of the project
- Participating in networking events and business development activities
- Preparing accurate estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
What You'll Bring
- 5 years of sales, business development, estimating, or project management experience within the restoration or construction industry
- Proven success growing business and closing opportunities
- Strong construction estimating experience (Xactimate preferred)
- Experience with large-loss or catastrophe restoration projects is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong financial and project management knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- OSHA 10/30, CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus
- Availability to attend networking and business development events 2–3 evenings per week
Travel
Minimal out-of-state travel is required. Occasional overnight travel may be needed for training, meetings, or project support.
