Responsibilities
Selected field engineers will be expected to perform routine preventive maintenance on medical/life sciences inspection equipment (mechanical or electronic) while maintaining clear and concise records for services provided, including preventive maintenance schedules, parts inventory, installation/upgrades, and troubleshooting techniques.
Education & Experience
- Experience in a biomedical/Laboratory environment
- Basic Laboratory & Chemistry knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with electronics, electromechanical systems, and IT
- Experience in diagnostics for software & system failure, as well as mechanical & hardware failure
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including fulfillment of documentation
- Organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Effective customer service skills - including a positive attitude and helpful customer interaction skills
Phyisical Requirements
- Must complete and pass a background check
- Must successfully complete vendor credentialing and/or site access requirements, which may include photo identification and certain vaccination records
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing equipment support
- Willingness to travel up to 60 miles one-way per assignment
- Ability to work in confined areas for extended periods of time
- Willingness to commit to PPE use when required
- Willingness to work with others – including communication through email, phone, and/or SMS text messages
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
