Onsite (Mon-Fri, 40 hours)

Contract Duration: 8 months, with likely extension

Pay Rate: $52.74 per hour (w2)

Medical Science Liaison

Role Summary

Medical Science Liaisons are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and clinical investigators. The role focuses on the dissemination of scientific and clinical information, providing field-based medical support for products, and capturing insights from external stakeholders to inform clinical and commercial strategy. This position also supports scientific exchange at conferences, delivers presentations, and partners cross-functionally to strengthen regional medical engagement and strategy execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage managers, supervisors, and individual contributors within a matrix organization, including performance management and career development conversations

• Disseminate scientific and medical information related to therapeutic areas, developments, and company products

• Collect and communicate field insights on emerging scientific and medical trends to internal stakeholders

• Support and organize educational programs, scientific exchanges, and clinical research initiatives through external and internal partnerships

• Manage external community engagement activities and facilitate discussions on healthcare trends, patient needs, and product relevance

• Oversee operational execution for assigned team activities, including workflow management, compliance, performance tracking, and delivery against goals

• Ensure alignment of team objectives with organizational leadership principles and ethical frameworks

• Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, clinical development, commercial, and research teams to support strategy execution

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (Doctor of Optometry, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent)

• Significant relevant professional experience in clinical and/or scientific roles

• Clinical experience in robotics-related environments and prior customer-facing experience required

• Strong ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively

• Proven presentation skills, including delivery to both internal and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and external partners

• Strong judgment and decision-making capability in dynamic and evolving environments

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Valid U.S. driver’s license
