Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to support facility maintenance
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuums
- Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently
- Nice-to-have skills include residential painting experience or porter experience for versatile support roles
