About The Role
The SQF & Safety Clerk provides administrative, documentation, and compliance support for both the Food Safety (SQF) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs. This role supports daily and weekly safety and SQF activities, helps maintain accurate records, ensures required logs are completed, and assists with audit readiness across assigned locations.
The SQF & Safety Clerk will support the Safety and SQF leadership and collaborate with site leadership and operational teams.

This role supports daily and weekly safety and SQF activities, helps maintain accurate records, ensures required logs are completed, and assists with audit readiness across assigned locations.
The SQF & Safety Clerk will support the Safety and SQF leadership and collaborate with site leadership and operational teams.
Responsibilities
Documentation & Recordkeeping (SQF Safety)
- Maintain and organize all safety and SQF documentation, including logs, forms, checklists, training records, and inspection reports.
- Track documentation deadlines (daily, weekly, monthly), follow up on missing forms, and ensure sites remain compliant.
- Assist with updating SOPs, forms, and controlled documents under the direction of the Safety/SQF leadership team.
- Assist with completing daily/weekly safety checklists (e.g., fire extinguishers, eyewash checks, emergency exits, forklift inspections).
- Support the incident reporting process by gathering information, uploading documents, and ensuring files are complete.
- Help maintain PPE records, safety board postings, and training sign-in sheets.
- Assist with SQF walkthrough checks, sanitation logs, pest control documentation, allergen control forms, and stock rotation logs.
- Ensure SQF-required documentation is complete, up to date, and audit-ready.
- Prepare documentation packets and binders before safety, customer, or SQF audits.
- Assist with correcting minor findings (missing logs, outdated postings, incomplete checklists) prior to audits.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, PDFs, scanning, data entry).
- Comfortable interacting with warehouse staff, supervisors, and site leadership.
- Ability to work independently with consistent deadlines and structured tasks.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, food handling, or administrative support.
