Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on development experience to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise applications at Freddie Mac. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development, modern frameworks, and microservices architecture.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or messaging systems is desirable.
- Financial services or mortgage industry experience is an advantage.
