Seeking Highly skilled IBM DataPower Engineer to design, implement and maintain security configurations for APIs & SOAP webservices using IBM DataPower. Responsible for designing robust security policies, applying authentication and authorization protocols, implement advanced security patterns including WS-Security, XML Encryption/Signature, and JSON Web Encryption (JWE/JWS) and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data across Internet and Intranet zones. Create and manage XSLT, GatewayScript, and processing policies to handle message transformation, validation, and routing. Implement threat protection mechanisms against SQL injection, XML/JSON injection, and DoS attacks. Manage SSL/TLS certificates, crypto profiles, and mTLS configurations. Expert knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON, SOAP, and RESTful architecture. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, Load Balancing, and Firewalls as they relate to the DMZ and Gateway. Perform deep-dive analysis of system logs and probes to troubleshoot connectivity, handshake, and authentication errors. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
