Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Help to join our team in a fast-paced quick service restaurant. Looking to fill the shift of 10:30AM-4PM or until 7PM typically Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems for processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, by sanitizing surfaces regularly. ensure a tidy environment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and served safely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
