Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high standards of customer service
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and sales
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and security
- Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and marketing initiatives to increase store revenue
- Monitor employee performance through coaching, feedback, and conducting regular evaluations
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and financial procedures such as payroll and bookkeeping
Skills
- Strong management skills with proven supervisory experience in retail environments
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and employee orientation
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Organizational skills with a keen eye for merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
- Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
