Seater

Purpose: Ensure smooth guest flow by managing seating assignments, communicating table availability, and supporting the guest experience from entrance to table.Core ResponsibilitiesArrive on time to your scheduled shift.Follow all food safety guidelines and temperature requirements.Follow all uniform and apron policies throughout your shift.Wear appropriate non-slip footwear for safety.Use wet floor warning signs when floors are slippery.Communicate with a Manager or Supervisor if any item, supply, or product is running low.Accurately complete and turn in all waste tracking sheets (if applicable).Work together as a team to deliver great food and genuine hospitality to every Guest.Seater-Specific DutiesGreet Guests warmly and ensure they are welcomed into the restaurant as you seat them.Coordinate guest flow and seating assignments based on table availability, party size, and special needs with the Host, Team Lead, Manager on Duty.Work directly with the Host to manage lobby communication and line expectations.Communicate with Service Attendants to track table turnover times and table readiness.Use the Seating System (digital or paper) to track occupied and vacant tables.Inform guests of wait times in a friendly, honest, and accurate manner.Notify a Manager when issues arise that require escalation (e.g., guest complaints, overflow, large party conflicts).Assist with tray-carrying and accessibility needs if guests require extra support.Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, entrance, lobby area, and flow station.Restock and tidy guest-facing items like tray holders, napkin dispensers, and informational signage.Assist with restocking plates, bowls, and silverware at the front of house as needed throughout the shift.Support Service Attendants by helping clear tables or reset areas during high-volume periods or when directedSupport other areas of the restaurant as assigned.Soup 'n Fresh is bringing a fresh new dining experience to Rancho Cucamonga, Chino Hills and hopefully more!
