Sounding Point is seeking a Grassroots Outreach Coordinator to help expand audience engagement and community presence for our performing arts clients.
We are looking for someone interested in arts and culture marketing, and seeking long-term growth within an evolving arts marketing agency.
This role directly impacts ticket revenue, brand positioning, and long-term audience development for major arts projects across Los Angeles. If you are self-starting, organized, and care about the arts, we would love to hear from you.

Position Overview
The Grassroots Outreach Coordinator will report directly to the Communications Manager, to design and execute community-based outreach initiatives that directly contribute to ticket sales, brand awareness, and long-term audience growth.
This role blends relational intelligence with operational rigor. It requires someone who can both initiate conversations and maintain detailed tracking systems. You will work closely with leadership to activate outreach strategies and refine them based on measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Community Partnership Development
- Identify and cultivate relationships with:
- Schools and universities
- Cultural and affinity organizations
- Community centers and faith-based institutions
- Professional associations and alumni groups
- Develop group sales pipelines and manage outreach campaigns
- Maintain consistent follow-up cadence
Campaign Activation
- Coordinate flyer and physical collateral distribution
- Represent Sounding Point and/or clients at events and performances
- Support grassroots ambassador initiatives
- Identify new outreach channels aligned with campaign goals
Administrative & Systems Management
- Maintain organized Google Sheets and Monday.com tracking systems
- Track discount codes, group bookings, and conversion data
- Prepare weekly performance summaries
- Maintain a clean, up-to-date outreach database
- Meeting scheduling and attendance

Qualifications
- Administrative experience required
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- 1–3 years in community outreach, arts administration, nonprofit marketing, field marketing, or partnership development preferred
- Reliable transportation for in-person outreach (Los Angeles–based projects)
- Knowledge of the performing arts preferred but not required
Compensation
- Starting at $22/hour
- Part-time, contract-based to start
- Flexible schedule with some evening/weekend event attendance required
- Hybrid role (remote in-person in Los Angeles)
