Job Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Personnel and become the frontline defender of our facilities! In this vital role, you'll ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through vigilant surveillance, proactive conflict management, and prompt emergency response. What you’ll do

• Monitor security cameras and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or breaches

• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors

• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies using established protocols and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

• Conduct patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards, enforce safety policies, and prevent theft or vandalism

• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes effectively

• Perform first aid and CPR when needed to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives

• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes

• This position is an unarmed security position requiring Illinois PERC certification

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols

• Knowledge of surveillance systems operation and monitoring techniques

• Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies

• Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and effectively under pressure

• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to deter theft and safeguard assets

• Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts

• Ability to move quickly and respond to incidents when necessary

• Ability to navigate crowded spaces and monitor multiple areas of the venue

• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs when assisting with operational needs
