Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ultrasound Technologist based in Federal Way, WA. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic and vascular imaging procedures, ensure the accurate capture of images, and assist physicians in interpreting test results. Responsibilities include maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and adhering to clinical procedures and standards. The role also involves documenting patient history and coordinating with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of Radiology, Vascular imaging, and medical diagnostic techniques
- Strong understanding of medical standards and practices in Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site, fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with vascular or ultrasound technology is a plus
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related medical field is highly preferable
