Responsibilities

- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various musical genres and techniques.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individual tutoring sessions for students needing additional support.
- Organize and lead group activities, performances, and recitals to showcase student progress.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate music education into broader academic programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including special education needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching music, with a focus on curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Strong classroom management skills with experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various musical instruments and teaching techniques for both children and adults.
- Experience in related fields such as dance, theater, cooking, photography, or sewing can be beneficial.
