Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Assist with material handling and inventory management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
- Set up and operate Router CNC machines according to job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and tooling setup.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to improve processes and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
- Willing to work Tuesday – Friday from 6am – 4:45pm
- Previous experience as a CNC operator or in a manufacturing environment.
