- We’re a welcoming, resilient team of 22 physicians and 10 advanced practitioners who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Frederick Memorial to deliver the best possible quality of care to our patients.

- We are fortunate to have other Sound Physicians' teams covering the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Room.
- Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Hospitalist experience required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Full-time position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- The day position is 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (11 hours), with 1 team member staying until 7:00 PM.
- The day Hospitalist performs rounding and discharges. There are two dedicated admitters, so you can concentrate on taking care of your patients.
- We hold daily MDRs and do geographic rounding as much as possible.
- Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes.
- We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
- We work in Meditech Expanse, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.

- The base salary for a full-time day hospitalist is $275,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
