Local Team Collaboration
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 31 physicians and 4 APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
- Our group participates in several hospitalist committees and QI projects.
- Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a 532-bed regional medical center. The hospital has the prestigious “Magnet” status. Cleveland Clinic Akron General is recognized regionally and within Ohio for its expertise and care.
- Board-certified/board-eligible in internal medicine.
- We proudly sponsor H1B & J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
- This Nocturnist role is a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation, but we help cover for our teammates as needed.
- We have 12 physicians and one APP working daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. 1 physician works a swing shift daily from 12 pm to 12 am. We have two physicians and one APP working nightly from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- We welcome the challenge of complex cases. The ICU is closed, and no procedures or codes are required. Our team responds to codes on their patients.
- For those who like to teach, we work with IM and FM residents from the Cleveland Clinic Akron General residency program.
