Local Team Collaboration
- Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
- Round Monday – Friday with two doctors for an ADC of 40 patients.
- Open ICU with Tele Intensivist backup, but the doctors will see the ICU patients.
- We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
- Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
- Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.
- Board-certified Physician Assistant.
- Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with option for contract for 9 – 12 shifts/month.
- Flexible scheduling.
- See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
- Work in coordination with a doctor for patient management on your own patients.
- Utilize Magnetech with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
- Managing patients from admission to discharge.
- Manhattan boasts a vibrant college scene, featuring the flagship campus of Kansas State University. The city lies between the Kansas and Big Blue Rivers and is just south of Tuttle Creek State Park, which encompasses Tuttle Creek Reservoir, horse trails, hiking trails, and a shooting range, and is a perfect city for outdoor enthusiasts.

- Salaried position at $770/shift for the first 9 shifts/month and $870/shift for any shifts over 9 per month.
- Quality bonus incentive, target $2,500 per year.
