We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join our team of physicians at Oak Valley District Hospital – 6 clinician team. 4 hospitalist physicians, 2 APPs providing coverage to this growing community
• Work alongside our Sound emergency medicine team, among other specialists
  
  

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with inpatient experience
• Open to J1 visa candidates; Sound provides in-house visa specialists
  
  

Scheduling

• Nocturnist shifts – 7p-7a
• 7 on/off model, 15 shifts/month, 182 shift/year
• Part-time options available
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Work in an open ICU environment
• No procedural requirements but preferred
• Rounding and admitting, includes Rapid Response and Code Blues

Rewards And Compensation

• Compensation: $2200/night shift
• Full time nocturnist yearly compensation is $400,400
• Quality bonus and productivity eligibility are in addition to base compensation
